Wedding | Mine!

Some of you may or may not know that I recently was married on 12.1.12:)  So I thought why not show some of my favorite shots from my big day!  Thanks to my really good friend Jaclyn (who also does amazing wedding invitations) of One Twenty Two Photo and Design House I have too many to choose from!

Below is my seating chart.  I bought an inexpensive frame from Old Time Pottery and used chalk board spray on it so I could write on it with chalk!  It makes for a great decoration in your house after the day is over!

I love this picture below.  The little blonde is my niece and the littlest one is my Goddaughter and flower girl..priceless!
For "guest favors" I had my mother-in-law and mom make homemade cookies using family recipes.  Let me just tell you, I think I still am hearing how wonderful these cookies were.  If you are trying to think of an affordable way to give favors, I really recommend this!  People absolutely love it!
I made a little cookbook detailing all the family recipes as well as who's recipe they belonged to, i.e. Grandma Jean, Aunt Kari, etc.  People thought this was great!  They were able to take the cookies home and a cookbook too!

I am awfully proud of my centerpieces!  It was definitely a labor of love.  I took vintage bottles and spray painted them gold ultimately using them as vases.  I also used the good old chalkboard spray again on these little $1 frames from the Dollar Store to use them as my table numbers!

Eric and his bf's aka best friends (I'm sure he'd love to know I call them his "bf's").

Me and my bf's!

Below are shots of an amazing surprise put on by my wonderful mother (and often 2nd shooter) and husband.  I love the local blues diva Kim Massie, so what do they do?  They surprise me by having her sing our first dance....At Last by Etta James!  I have to say I am rarely surprised but
they got me this time!

This facial expression is me realizing it is Kim Massie singing At Last by Etta James!

This is me crying because I am surprised and really excited;)
There she is, serenading to Eric and I.  I thought this was so awesome!!
This is me saying "Oh man you got me....and how much did this cost??"
Me and the local diva herself!
These shots below are some of my favorite.  I think it's because we are being our natural selves.  I say time and time again, but that is when people look their best!

I hope you enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed my wedding!  If you are one of my future brides, I can't wait for your upcoming wedding!
