Engagement | Meghan & Marcus

You will see Meghan & Maruc's wedding pictures next June.  For now I'd like to share their engagement, Chicago style.  Meghan and Marcus currently live near Wrigley Park so when they asked if we could do their shoot up there I was super excited!  I love Chicago for many reasons, it is absolutely fantastic for photo shoots.  We actually started the shoot at Navy Pier.  While that is a wonderful place with so much to do, we just couldn't find enough photo-ops.  Then our adventure began as we walked along, stopping at interesting places and making those spots our backdrop!

One of those spots was this very cool pier/marina.  No, we did not have access to get in but a very nice man in the inside was more than happy to let us sneak in and take a shots.
Are Marcus and Meghan not one of the cutest couples you've ever seen??  I think so:)

As we walked across this bridge to get to the marina, we saw some opportunity with the bridge and couldn't resist ourselves!

Standing in the middle of the road, was a little scary.  Marcus helped keep a look out for cars.

We wrapped up the session at the Union Station.  I took the old Megabus to Chicago and when they dropped me off it was right by Union Station.  I laid my eyes on that building and knew we had to end the session there...I was determined and glad we did.  I loooove this place for photos.  I love how in the inside if gives you that old, timeless feeling.

Outside of the station there is a fantastic row of columns that make for just gorgeous shots.  I wasn't the only one who thought so, there were several wedding parties there as well.
Thanks Meghan and Marcus.  I had a great time, even with the heat!
