While it was cold and snowy here in STL in the beginning of February, my boyfriend, some
friends and myself escaped to Key West. I thought I would share my favorite shots. I picked
the pictures that I thought summed up Key West. I know I wish I was back there right
about now!
I saw this girl painting a mural on a restaurant and thought it looked like an AMAZING job!
Just some decorative buoy's in a local watering hole.
Key West has beautiful architecture. It is a very historical island and many of the buildings consist of original components. Any new
buildings have strict codes to abide by in efforts to continue the historical feel of Key West.
Beautiful aqua water. Don't let it fool you, it was cold.
On top of the tallest building in Key West (it wasn't very tall, 5 stories or so) you find many tourist visiting the island from cruise
ships. Here everyone is taking snapshots of the famous Key West sunset.
Everything was so colorful there.....
I loved the rustic feel of this truck and the red accents. Much of Key West is very Rustic with a TON of character.
Thought this was a pretty composition.
This is Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. Feel free to click on the link to learn more...don't really trust that I retained any of the
information I learned about it.
I love the simplicity and beauty of this shot.
