Wedding | Julee & Jason

Julee and Jason were such a great couple, their wedding was very laid back and the way every wedding should be...fun!  Julee wanted to spend her wedding day enjoying her day.  She did not want to spend a lot of time stopping and taking photos.  To say the least, I had a GREAT time 

capturing all these great candid moments!  She has a beeeautiful smile doesn't she?!

Below is Erin, the maid of honor is writing up her speech with a nice glass of chardonnay. She was 

so nervous, but of course she did a great job;)

The pre-ceremony shots were actually at Erin's parents house. Erin is a stylist at Studio Branca, so of 

course she has her very own studio at her home away from home!

For some reason, I just loved taking shots of her dad...I think it's because he looked like he'd 

be a lot of fun:)

Post Destination Wedding, Reception | Rachel & Jeff

I photographed Rachel & Jeff's engagement session in late April and recently they were married out of state.  To celebrate with friends and family who were unable to attend they threw the most shabby-chic reception at a family friends home in Jacksonville, IL.  I was in heaven with all the cute details!!

In case you haven't noticed, one of the themes was nostalgic Coco-Cola. To say the least, I really

appreciated all the effort that was put in to making this theme come to life.

I just love these photos below, the one in the middle is Rachel's mother.

Engagement | Adam & Allison

A lot of the business I get is through referrals.  I met Adam & Allison through a referral from this lovely couple.   Both couples are from Jacksonville, IL!  This will not be the last you see of Allison and Adam we are photographing their wedding in May 2011!

I just looooove the one on the right.  Allison is good at "smizing" (not sure if that is the correct spelling, meaning--smiling w/ your eyes).

I know I said I loved the one above, but I reeeeally love the one below!

Children | Zane

I took this little man's newborn photos about 3 months ago, so here where are again 

for his 3 month photo session!  

I just love this one below...he looks like a little man!

I set up a little basket to lay him in (at three months there's not much else they like to do, besides be cute and smile).  To get him to fall asleep we would give him his binky then....

he would wake up, give a little yawn and then....

...fall back asleep again:)

Aahhh, the life!
