Engagement | Chris & Jennifer

One of the reasons why I love doing engagement sessions is because I love hearing how people met, how they were proposed to, what they love to do together so on and so on.  Chris and Jennifer chose Berra Park within the infamous St. Louis Hill.  They picked this park because this is where they had their very first kiss....so sweet:)
**Stay tuned for Chris and Jennifer's wedding shots from their wedding on 10-10-10!!
Photobucket
I think Jennifer looks so radiant and pretty below...I love the way the light is hitting her.

Fun little fact about Jennifer's ring...Chris actually selected the stones and designed the ring himself.  Yet another reason why I like engagements, I love hearing little facts like this one.
Photobucket
Yet another factoid, that exact spot below is where they had their first kiss within the park.  So of course we had to do a reenactment, same set-up and all...except I guess they aren't kissing in the one below.
Photobucket
I like this picture below because is came straight from the camera, no adjustments or anything....gotta loooove that.
Photobucket
I know I have a lot of favorites but I reeeeallly love the one below.
Photobucket
Chris and Jennifer looooove to read so I told them to bring some books.  I always suggest couples bringing props that represent them.  I then like to tie it into the photo shoot.  I looooove props.  It never hurts to have them and it makes things interesting and different...and you!!
Photobucket
Okay, the one below is also one of my favorites, I like the angle.
Photobucket
Chris being his handsome self...

I liked the paint on the brick behind them, I thought it pulled out the colors in their tattoos.  Which btw, I thought brought such great colors to the photos.  I was really excited about that!
Photobucket
And because they love tattoos so much we had to get a photo in front of their favorite tattoo shop!

Family | Halvach's

I recently did a little photo shoot in Granite City of a repeat customer, Sarah.  This time she brought the whole family, sisters and all....
Photobucket
This would be Quinn showing her "chipmunk" face..
Photobucket
I think the chipmunk face burnt her out on posing..
Photobucket
Brady and Grandpa.
Photobucket
Grandpa and the grandkids...
Photobucket
So sweet..

And of course a little candidness with all the girls:)

Wisslead Wedding Montage (minus the music)...

So...this was our (my mom and myself) first wedding.  It was so much fun!  I've put together a little summary of my favorite shots, and trust me, with this gorgeous couple it wasn't easy....
Photobucket
Above...a little documentation of the pre-ceremony primping.
Photobucket
I have to say (besides the whole wedding) for some reason I just LOVE taking shots of the minor details.  I could've taken ring shots all day long!  I love finding those fun little areas that you can those delicate details.
Photobucket
Above...Chris's best man was a Dr. (or at least that is what he told me:) so above he was checking Chris's heartbeat before the wedding.
Photobucket
And of course all those fun little looks and moments during the ceremony....priceless.
Photobucket
I love this one.  Chris's dad had an old Corvette, so after the ceremony Chris and Ashleigh drove off into the sunset (really I should say sun, it was smokin hot that day)!
Photobucket
Trust me, I had many more favorites of these two but I kept it simple and chose the ones above.
Photobucket
The wedding party, which I should add was wonderful.  I couldn't of asked for a better bunch for the first time!

PhotobucketAnd of course what would a wedding be without the toasts!
